Get Arthur Potts to Ottawa
where he will advance Canadian clean technologies at our military bases to help meet our UN commitments while building sustainable communities that showcase Canadian innovation to the world.
Standing Up for Consumers
Arthur Potts has fought hard to protect consumers and ensure fairness in the economy. His Private Member Bills stopped AirMiles loyalty points from expiring; strengthened laws against identity fraud, provided access to free consumer credit scores, and prohibited daycares from charge non-refundable waitlist fees.
Workers and Fair Pay
Arthur Potts supports increases to Ontario’s minimum wage to bring it closer to a living wage. He helped develop Ontario’s Guaranteed Annual Income Pilot and passed a Private Member’s Bill that stopped restaurant owners from stealing servers’ tips. Workers are consumers too and their wages support the economy.
Making Life More Affordable for Families
Affordability has emerged as the most pressing concern for Canadians. Tariffs, rising energy and food prices, and job losses need to be addressed with industry supports for local manufacturing and innovation, new international trading relationships, investments in worker retraining and low income supplements. Arthur fought for affordability at Queen’s Park and will do so in Ottawa as your representative.
Helping Local Businesses Grow
Arthur understands that small business is the backbone of our economy. At Queen’s Park he led changes to tax rates for craft ciders and spirits which helped grow those industries, creating jobs and demand for agricultural goods. He currently sits on a number of CleanTech company boards helping commercialize new technologies that can affordably reduce global carbon emissions.
As an MPP Arthur Delivered Real Results
In His Career, Arthur Potts

Currently serves on a number of Clean Tech boards advancing the low carbon economy.
